The tour will start out in the greenhouse with one of the owners of the farm as their personal guide. Groups will then be given a private hayride through the farm. The guide will point out the different crops and explain how they are planted, maintained and harvested. Guests will learn how the farmers implement pest management and conservation practices. The guide will also talk about how Peaceful Valley Orchards works in conjuction with America’s Grow-A-Row, a non-profit organization that provides fresh produce to those in need. Each guest will be allowed to pick something from our fields, depending on what’s in season at the time of the tour. (fruits, vegetables or flowers – quantity will vary depending on the crop).

Cost:
$85.00 minimum, over 5 people $15 additional per person

Garden Club Tours
Have a Garden Club or a bunch of friends that are avid gardeners? Peaceful Valley Orchards is the perfect place to hold your meetings. Take a tour of our commercial fruit and vegetable operation and then hold your meeting at our picnic tables. Visitors will be able to tour our greenhouses, orchards, and vegetables and cut flower plantings with one of our farm educated guides. At the end of the tour guests will have the opportunity to ask one of the farmers any questions they may have about fruit and vegetable production. Feel free to bring your own refreshments. $10/person; Scheduled between May 1-Oct. 31

Apple Orchard Tour:

Available September 13th – October 29th (Mon-Fri 9 am-4 pm)

Cost: $7.75 per person (Teachers, students, chaperones, and siblings)

The apple picking tour is a walking tour and educates kids about farming, apple growing and the role honey bees play on the farm. We teach kids the importance of eating fresh, local, and in season. The tour includes:

- Educational Farm Tour
- Hand picked juicy apples (2 apples per tour member) fresh from the orchard
- Cup of apple cider
- Straw Bale Maze
