Farm Stand at Peacefully Valley Orchards

Come join the fun this summer and experience farm life first hand at Peaceful Valley Orchards. The kids will learn about soil, water, bees, composting, weather, and farm equipment…as well as how a working farm market operates.

Children will be able to pick farm fresh vegetables straight from the field. They will also learn how to start seeds in the greenhouse and how to plant them in the field. There will be lots of games, crafts and exploring on the farm. So spend the week with us this summer at Peaceful Valley Orchards.

Camp Dates & Time
First Session July 7-11 (Monday-Friday)

Second Session July 14-18 (Monday-Friday)

Please note: Farm Camp is for children ages 7-10 years. (Both sessions are identical)

Fee: $175.00
** Price break for kids who participated in 2007 Farm Camp!! ($155.00)

To register, fill out the Registration Form and Medical Release. Checks should be made to Peaceful Valley Orchards.Then return them with your payment to:

Drop off time for camp will be from 8:45 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. each morning. Pick up time is at 3:00 pm. (please be prompt when dropping off and picking up your child).

*Our pickup procedure requires you to pick up your own children. If you are sending another person to pick up your child, you must send in a signed note that morning.*

We will be in the field and the greenhouse so old shoes are recommended (no sandals or open toed shoes). It is also suggested that the kids wear hats and sunscreen.

In the event of light rain we will still be working outside so have the kids bring raingear. If the weather doesn’t permit outdoor activities we will spend our day working on other projects indoors.

Snacks and juice will be provided but please send a lunch with your child. On Friday we will be grilling hotdogs for the kids. If they do not like or cannot eat hotdogs, please provide a lunch for your child.
